Frequently Asked Questions

What is Lucia?

Lucia is an attribution and identity-resolution platform for web2 and web3. You add a lightweight SDK to your site and tag your campaign links; Lucia then connects every click, visit, conversion, and wallet connect into one customer journey and tells you which campaign earned each conversion.

How is this different from Google Analytics?

Analytics tools count sessions and pageviews. Lucia resolves the person behind the activity — across devices and wallets — and credits conversions to the campaign that drove them, including on-chain outcomes that web2 analytics can't see. In short: GA tells you what happened; Lucia tells you what earned the revenue.

How long until I see data?
  • Minutes — events (pageviews, clicks) show up as soon as the SDK is live.
  • Days — journeys stitch together and attribution starts crediting your campaigns.
  • Weeks — enough resolved data to confidently reallocate budget.
Do I need to be a developer to set it up?

Not really. The simplest install is a single <script> tag you paste into your site (or your CMS / tag manager) — see the Custom Website guide. If you use React, Vite, or Next.js, there are copy-paste framework guides too.

Does it work for organic and non-paid campaigns?

Yes. Tag your organic links (social posts, newsletters, referrals) with UTM parameters and Lucia attributes the resulting conversions back to the source — the same way it does paid ads. See Organic Campaigns.

Does it work with crypto wallets?

Yes — Lucia supports EVM and Solana wallets. When a visitor connects, their on-chain activity joins the same profile as their web sessions, so you can measure web2 and web3 results side by side. See Connecting Wallets.

Is my users' data handled privately?

Collection is consent-aware and processing is GDPR-aligned; data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The SDK automatically skips sensitive fields like passwords and card inputs, and you can gate it behind a consent banner. See Privacy & Compliance.

What can I actually measure?

Real-time CAC, ROAS, LTV, and conversion rate per channel and campaign; cohorts and segments; and per-user risk scores (churn, fraud, bot, and wallet risk). It's all in the dashboard and the Attribution API.

How do I get started?

Sign up, grab your API key, and follow the Quickstart — about five minutes to your first events.
